What is Femilon Tablet
Femilon Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive designed to prevent pregnancy and help manage irregular menstrual cycles. It works by inhibiting ovulation (the release of an egg) and preventing fertilization by sperm. Additionally, it may reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.
This medication can be taken with or without food, but it is recommended to take it at the same time every day to ensure its effectiveness. Follow your doctor’s instructions for the correct dosage. Typically, you will start taking the tablet on the first day of your menstrual cycle and continue for 28 days. After finishing one pack, start a new one. If you vomit within 4 hours of taking the tablet, take another dose. If you miss a dose and it’s been more than 12 hours, use additional contraception (such as condoms) for the next 2 days.
